2019
ALPMA takes over the majority of SULBANA as of January 2019. For SULBANA, the merger is an important step for sustainable further development. In the field of pasta filata cheeses and classic hard & semi-hard cheeses, the most comprehensive and technologically leading product range in the industry will be offered under the ALPMA-SULBANA brand. The ALPMA Group is thus further expanding its leading position as a machine and plant manufacturer for cheese production and processing.

2018
In the sliced cheese sector, we have received a major order for a complete cheese dairy.

2016
Opening of our new subsidiary Sulbana Inc. in USA, Wisconsin.

2014
Opening of new building and consolidation of the warehouse and the new office facilities at the previous Elsau location.

Expansion: Sulbana acquires a 100% share in Antti Lindfors Oy, based in Kauhajoki, Finland.

Milestone: every year, 500,000 tonnes of mozzarella are produced at Sulbana plants across Europe.

Expertise: in Europe and the USA, Sulbana is perceived as a competent partner for hard and semi-hard cheese plants.

Growth: the Sulbana team in Switzerland grows to 20 employees.
