Review 2018

Picture: Christmas apero 2018

In the current year we have been able to deliver and commission various major projects. Our developments of the Pasta Filata lines are attracting worldwide attention. Our focus on manufacturing industrial production plants with an hourly output of 1.5 to 7 tonnes is proving to be the right one. We were allowed to deliver pizza cheese systems to Germany and the USA. In the sliced cheese sector, we received a major order for a complete cheese dairy and several large craneless salt bath systems were put into operation. In the USA, our youngest subsidiary is developing successfully in sales consulting for cheese processing technology and hygiene technology. Looking back, 2018 is a historic year for Sulbana. We sealed our long-standing partnership with our business partner, ALPMA Maschinenbau GmbH, in a merger in mid-November. This means a sustainable future orientation of our family business. Andreas Hugi, who founded Sulbana in 1983, will remain a co-shareholder. We are pleased about the commitment of our new majority shareholder. As a subsidiary of ALPMA Maschinenbau GmbH, we will continue to serve our customers and partners as a well-known and competent Sulbana team within the existing structures.
We would like to thank our valued customers, suppliers, business partners and employees of the entire Sulbana Group for their valued cooperation and the trust they have placed in us.
With the best Christmas and New Year wishes,
Thorsten Kehl
CEO Sulbana Group
